Pine Grove Campground
Pine Grove Campground is situated on 37 acres of large overgrowth of yellow pine trees. Located on the grounds are six ponds that serve as a sanctuary for different species of ducks, geese, swans, herons, egrets, shore birds, and wading birds.
Acres of woodlands and pond areas surround the campground, abundant with bird life. There is a public boat ramp and crabbing dock within walking distance of the campground.
You are only a few minutes away from town, doctors, shopping, and the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and Assateague Island National Seashore with miles of wild beach and nature trails, where the Chincoteague Ponies roam free.
Pine Grove Campground offers 150 large shaded sites with full hookups available including cable T.V. The tent area is separate from trailers, and modern bathhouses, a store, large pool, bike rentals, laundry, propane, play area, and waterfowl sanctuary are on the grounds. Insect control.
