Chincoteague Pony Drill Team
This year some members of the Chincoteague Pony Drill Team and Kendy Allen, coach, have decided that if there is interest, we will take in a few foals from the wild pony auction to halter gentle and acclimate. With more than 30 years experience of working with Chincoteague ponies of all ages, we look forward to helping people get their foals off to a good start. We can arrange to pick your foal up, bring it to our farm, and train it, and even arrange hauling to your place when you and your foal are ready. For more information text or call 757-894-5168.
A portion of the money raised thru this will go to support the Chincoteague Pony Drill Team. Chincoteague Pony Drill Team was founded in 1998 by Kendy Allen, it all started with taking Misty II to the Kentucky Horse Park. While there, Kendy watched the state 4-H drill competition, and thought, "...we could do this with the Chincoteague Ponies..." Kendy then returned home and asked some of the best riders in her local 4-H club if they'd like to try a Chincoteague Pony Drill Team. The rest is history. The very first performance took place in 1998, and this year we celebrate our 21st anniversary!
