Burnham Guides Paddle & Bike operates paddling tours and rentals Spring through Fall up and down the Eastern Shore of Virginia, including Chincoteague Island, barrier islands, and Onancock.
They also offer kayak, SUP and bike rentals/deliveries. Our shop is located in the historic Steamboat Ticket Office at Onancock Wharf, the perfect launch for hourly kayak, SUP or bike rentals.
Step out off the water and onto Mallards' waterfront dining deck for drinks, a meal, and live music.
Try our multi-day Eastern Shore Sampler to experience all sides of the Eastern Shore: Bayside, Seaside, and to see the Assateague Lighthouse and Chincoteague Ponies. We also deliver kayaks, SUPs, and bikes to your waterfront home or vacation rental. We, Bill and Mary Burnham, are the authors of several paddling and hiking books, available in their shop and online.
