10th Annual Chincoteague Plein Air Painting Event
Over 40 artists will spend 2 days painting outdoors on Assateague and Chincoteague Islands.  On Saturday evening the 14th from 6-10 p.m. those framed paintings will be on exhibit for viewing and sale.  This exhibition is free and open to the public and is held in Parish Hall of the Christ United Methodist Church at 6253 Church Street in Chincoteague.  The Plein Air event is sponsored by Chincoteague Cultural Alliance and is part of the monthly 2nd Saturday Art Stroll.  Come and enjoy a terrific evening of wonderful, doverse art.  Log onto www.chincoteagueculturalalliance.org for more information.

Free and open to all children ages 2-10 from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post at 4023 Main Street Chincoteague.  Meet Mrs. Carol Claus, Rudolph, Frosty and enjoy interactive story-telling and face painting.  Enjoy the party, have a nice dinner on the island and stay for the Old-fashioned Christmas Parade at 7 p.m.
