Summer Courses and Summer Camps. The wide range of programs offered by the Consortium is astounding! The Marine
Science Consortium can even develop marine science based education programs to fit your group’s needs.
The beaches, marshes, bays, maritime forests, and off-shore waters of Virginia's Eastern Shore are The
Consortium's classroom. Their facilities include new residence suites, dining hall, lounges, auditorium,
classrooms/meeting spaces, research labs and flat bottom boats and oceanic research vessels. If you are interested in
learning more about coastal and marine systems while enjoying Virginia’s scenic shoreline. The Marine Science
Consortium offers a wonderful variety of opportunities to meet your educational and/or research goals. Since 1965 The
Marine Science Consortium has educated and inspired thousands of children, youth, and adults about the marine and
coastal ecosystems along the Mid-Atlantic Region through fun and scientific place-based, hands-on experiences.
